The UK Green Parties

We're absolutely doomed unless Starmer accepts reality and brings in radical electoral reform, aren't we? (So we're absolutely doomed).

We still have a long time before any of this matters, and thats plenty enough time for Reform to keep fucking up, blowing promises and losing this momentum.

95,000 paying members now, absolutely flying.

As a COLOURBLIND can someone tell me if those seats are going Tory or Reform in Scotland please
They appear to be shading the seats based on how strongly they are going for each party so there is genuinely no way to know which are Reform and which are Tory.

Well I've postal voted Green in a local council by-election. Yesterday I had some election material popped through my letterbox by the Greens.

I looked up and to my delight it was none other than Seb Flyte passing my house having just POPPED IT IN MY SLOT.

I doubt they'll win, it's pretty solid Labour around here, but I'm happy to be proven wrong (the right kind of wrong).

I've also shown interest in being part of the local Green Party, but I want strictly no profile, despite multiple people saying I should stand for council(!)

I just want to fanny about putting the world to rights with idealistic souls.

You and Seb Flyte as a dream ticket would be one hell of a plot twist.

I've still not done anything to do with my local party but I am now actually helping to write policy briefings for ZP to quote in interviews. Which is rather nuts.

You should absolutely get involved, its fun and the party naturally attracts some good people, even if I do roll my eyes hard at some of the overt democracy and hippy bullshit (like having a few minutes of silence before meetings)

I don’t think it’ll be long until Reform and Green are consistently polling as the top two.

And I now have a VOTE GREEN poster in my window.

Which is an amazing turnaround from VOTE LABOUR just LAST YEAR.

a non-Tory who enjoys BEING ON LAURA K? this may be his first red flag.

Victoria Derbyshire was standing in to be fair, so he didn’t have to face the gorgon herself.

I do still get serious

vibes from this man, I am sorry to say.

I do hope they can avoid becoming a one-man cult of personality a’la Labour under Corbyn.

I thought he did OK on Laura K/Vicky D, but I was struck that he missed the opportunity to draw a line between his own obvious personal antipathy towards NATO and the current official Green party policy. He’s not an autodictat and he should be careful of acting like one IMO.
