on air meltdown
was a lot. I agree it was the weakest season but I still enjoyed it.

Watched the last episode of House of Guinness. I think it has done well so a second run is likely but ridiculous cliffhanger anyway.

How did she not cop on when the double talked about her medication? The real Anne had only mentioned a day before that she had stopped taking it! She's supposed to be an investigative journalist ffs! And how did we see the billionaire and the double together in bed when he had thrown the dead body overboard a few seconds before?

I watched the first two episodes of Daisy May and Charlie Cooper's Nightwatch last night. The ghosts were few and far between but I love them and their chemistry.

Preferred Charlie's folklore one the other year more at this point, but we shall see.

The Morning Show season 4. 4 episodes in and it's business as usual I guess. Nothing has dropped quality-wise, except it's not offering me anything beyond familiarity. It's just not an essential show. My recommendation: above average pass-the-time fodder.

I'm a bit late catching up with the third series of Blue Lights but I've been on it today. I had to see the last episode so binned off Big Brother tonight. It is SO GOOD

You just knew that hot Shane was in a world of trouble when he confessed his secret love for Westlife and had a happy in car sing song
 
Just finished the new series of Trigger Point. I watched the first two seasons and although good at points I have not been fully sold. This season is definitely a step up and kept me enthralled throughout.

Pluribus. Watching on my Outlaw Premium. The ratio is squeezed to fit my entire screen and it's very off-putting. Just started.

Edit: meanwhile, I'm sold.

I have just started 'The Flight Attendant' which I think was HBO but seems to have been bought by ITV and plastered all over their streaming.
Loving it so far for its trashy easy watching - the lead reminds me of a younger Jennifer Aniston.

I think I remember the first season being very good fun but the second did a lot of wheel spinning.

I also enjoyed Kaley Cuoco in Based on a True Story.

That is on my list to watch.

Channel 4 is showing The Serpent Queen with Samantha Morton as Catherine de' Medici. I always fancied it but it was previously on one of the Amazon add on subscription services so this is convenient. The format seems to be Samantha telling the story of the younger Catherine and the tone is quite knowing... not full on The Great style but they break the fourth wall quite a bit.

Anyway - started Changing Ends series three last night. Still making me chuckle. I suspect it may get a few more casual viewers since the Traitors win?
 
And also Summerwater on Channel 4 which is a 6 parter slow burn drama set in a Scottish holiday park with each episode set from a different families perspective.
 
Fallout. Just started and I really wish I'd stuck with the game (maybe I'll get the Switch 2 version whenever that drops). Love the groom initiating them consummating the marriage.
 
All Her Fault had a strong first episode but my God did it descend into soapy, appallingly written nonsense by the end!

It was actually quite jarring watching Sarah Snook attempting to sell such palpable rubbish after seeing her on Succession.

Well yes, I am getting to the end of the second season and its got quite ridiculous and far fetched. Which I suppose was always going to happen but STILL.
I'll have to check out Based on a True Story - I do like Kaley Cuoco

I haven’t finished it yet but it’s fine as an enjoyable bit of trash! It does seem a bit BENEATH the woman who played all 26 characters in DORIAN GRAY!

Finished Riot Women now and loved it! Wasn't keen on the first episode and wasn't sure it was gonna be for me but then I was hooked! Sally Wainwright can certainly write a good show (The police stuff was very Happy Valley) The one playing Kitty was fantastic to watch, never seen her before. Just wish Amelia Bullmore and Sue Johnston had been given bigger parts as I love them both. Glad a second series is happening
 
Just finished that Jack Whitehall and David Duchovny Thriller on Amazon called Malice.

Deeply disappointing. 6 episodes and it doesn’t really get going until the 3rd episode. Then at the end it doesn’t have any real pay-off and leaves a lot of plot holes.
