Celebrity Traitors (UK) S01E08

Kate wants people to tell her why and then immediately hands off to someone else

Joe bringing Kate Garraways runaway success on GMTV into question :disco:

Joe is saying exactly how I feel about Kate, but I think she finally framed it in a way that makes most sense, about her training herself in a way to be impartial. I do think she's unable to switch out of her media role in terms of not being threatening and showing that cut-throat ambition that got her on that sofa in the first place.

Oh I'm glad she's gone. Absolutely useless and totally gets in the way of a good round table ("let me finish" aside).

I’d say this is sewn up for a faithful win but the 70min runtime next week makes me think otherwise.

David the weak link ends up teaming up with Alan and Cat to get rid of Nick. Leaving an open goal for them to get rid of Joe and then vote to end the game.

David will go “Joe suggested Cat and Alan to me so therefore I actually think Joe is a traitor”

MERLY WATCHING DAVID LIKE

I do like Joe a lot and, of course, INSIDE ME NOW, but I feel in some ways the game might have worked better without him and his aggressive going after people. I am therefore very ok with people turning on him and a traitor win. He does seem to be over egging this “Alan and Cat” end game, though Alan has been so obvious the last couple of episodes, he’s surely the first to go?

I like him, but the way he speaks to Alan sometimes reminds of homophobic school bullies.

What a satisfying set up for next week. I really want an Alan win but don't think we're going to get it sadly. I won't begrudge Joe and Nick though, although I would David. I'm sure he has a worthy charity at least.

I can't believe that the group of Faithfuls who couldn't find a Traitor till episode 8 now look like they're probably on course to be the winners. I guess it ties it up nicely in a bow for a celebrity/charity version. Seeing Cat blindside Alan in the final two and taking away his charity winnings would be nothing short of cruel awful viewing :D

I know the rules aren't set in stone, but SHOULD there technically have been one more murder? And the final then been 2v2? (Ergo a likely Traitor win)? That one extra number on the Faithfuls side I really think is going to make a big difference and seal it for them.

(And it doesn't help that neither Cat nor Alan were exactly convincing when they said they were Faithfuls!)

The argument between Kate and David was so compelling in how polite and vicious it is.

I don't read Joe as over aggressive at all! He clearly actually really likes Alan!
