Yes it's an Amazon Exclusive single "Xmas" and a re-release of the Christmas album vinyl, which I assume must also be Amazon exclusive? Out 5th December.

Very disappointed by the title of the single
 
Presumably the single will become available on other platforms in year 2 and then become a proper Christmas smash, just like Sam Ryder did last year :eyes:
 
So we're now doing deluxe reissues that don't even have the full album? To be appropriately festive, get stuffed.
 
I suppose calling it 'partly wrapped' wouldn't have looked great, though.
 
Well I am quite happy with four new tracks for Xmas to have a lil listen to! Call me easily pleased!
I saw online some fans happy with the inclusion of White December and the James Corden duet SCRAPPED.
I am hoping we get some primetime promo and some festive concerts!

Interesting to see whether she scores a big, fake hit with it though!

What's odd is that the Kylie official store is selling a vinyl just of the 'Amazon exclusive' single, despite not having it on the album version.

I can't say I closely follow Tom Grennan or Ar Sam but it feels like she's gone bigger than the previous Amazon deals. I'm up for it tbh, although it will be fucking annoying not to have 'XMAS' on proper streaming for a year if it's any good
 
Can someone please explain to a geriatric like me who has seemingly been living under a rock these last few years, how these Amazon exclusive Christmas songs work. Do they throw a ton of money at the artist? I'm trying to understand the incentive (other than scoring an easy hit).

Oh and apparently Radio 2 just played the song.
 
In the OLD DAYS, this would have been a single or an EP but since only multi-formatted albums can recoup nowadays, here we are.
 
I’m glad I’m doing one of my quarterly dry months otherwise I feel I might have been pressing order this coming Saturday night.
 
I looked at the bundles and signed whatnots and didn't even feel a twinge, I'm pleased to report.
 
It seems like she took some inspiration from Jessie J’s new single when making XMAS.

Yes, I think it was resisting Tension II that made doing the same for this easy enough.

I still resent the 3 (I think) physical copies of Disco and 2 of Tension I bought, all of which remain untouched except for the Infinite Disco DVD.

I know it's only going to realise full appeal in about 6 weeks, but it's a bit shit, isn't it?
 
It feels like they've gone "what can we attempt a TikTok dance routine to" and WORKED BACK FROM THAT

I quite like it after two listens. A bit of festive fun.

So she's releasing a version of the Christmas album labelled Fully Packaged that doesn't include tracks from the original editions?

And she's releasing a new single that isn't on the forthcoming album...?

I don't really understand how things work anymore. :(
