Please. Even a squirrel after a bottle of red and a belly full of nuts could take a rat down.
Rats on their diet of antibiotics piss, mouldy food, smack plus their addiction to poison traps could barely stumble INTO a fight.
The squirrelism in this thread is quite concerning![]()

What is this COLORISM?!Red Squirrels - Adorable, protect them at all costs
Grey Squirrels - The ASBO teens of the animal kingdom.
What is this COLORISM?!
European colonizers said the same thing!Where’s the lie though?!
Our local squirrels are all grey squirrels, I've only seen reds in Devon. They are lovely but it's a bit annoying when they're tame enough to come scratching at the back door or sitting on the windowledge scratching the window because they are demanding peanuts. Stumpy (was called Brokentail until the broken bit dropped off) and Tattytail were the best and would sit with me on the step to eat their peanuts. Tattytail even brought her babies round to see me when they were a bit older.Grey Squirrels - The ASBO teens of the animal kingdom.

I love a grey squirrel. I never understand a mainlanders dislike of them.
I mean, I don't want them on my island. But they are cute.
Sounds like squirrel racism to me.I love a grey squirrel. I never understand a mainlanders dislike of them.

They think their shit don’t stink in FormbyWe have red squirrels in Formby pinewoods - it’s protected land and mostly because of the squirrels
Oh I didn't know Ireland also had them! Yours sound much more tame than ours.Apparently the IoW is still a stronghold for the reds @Rachey. When I go back to Ireland I will take pics of the red squirrels who pretty much come up to my door. Almost tame and beautiful flame red colour to see.
