I got passed the waiting room at 10.05 for 2 venues on different devices and fully sold out. As we're all other venues when I then tried. Fuming!

I wish the dates had gone on sale album release day, probably going to be a load of people that have heard clips on tik tok rather than actual long standing fans. Annoying!

I totally envisaged more of a residency for this album. As I said before it would work great from start to finish like a play, nothing major but almost like a Blood Brothers type set.

I’ve listened to this a few times now and it’s truly astonishing. It’s so…unique. I can’t quite decide if I’m going to come back to it for the music- there are songs I couldn’t even tell you what they were like but the lyrics blow me away. Pure poetry. Richly deserved success.

Not that it matters but Radio 2 still not playlisting anything. Maybe they have a understanding with R1 to let them go with Madeline then R2 will push a radio-version/family friendly track in the New Year.
