Leigh Anne - My Ego Told Me To (Debut Album)

Album out in a couple of weeks. I hope the Mixers can get her a Top 10 at least…

Been enjoying this recent single

 
It’s good! I have had a play through… 15 songs 40 minutes run time is a little jarring but there is a good cohesive album here. Goodbye Good Morning is great!
 
she's not sticking her debut single on there, even though it is three years old? Is that cos she went independent?
 
Are they partial numbers or do the album tracks really just have 1-3k from release day? 🥴
 
Goodbye Goodmorning is on repeat plays here… I think there are one or two weaker tracks but all in all it’s a really good collection
 
the numbers look kinda bad, but it's hard to say because she's really not successful at all generally

I hope she at least gets a top 10 first week, after the other two got #3
 
Expectations are surely considerably lower for her than Jade or Perrie.
 
She tweeted that she is #4 in the midweeks so far. I think that should be safe for a Top 10 placing.
 
If Leigh-Anne has more formats, I'd have thought that she was even more likely to be front loaded once all those advance order sales drop off.
 
She has signings all week though, which should net her a couple of thousand sales. You only need about 3k to make the top 10.

I am glad she is doing well, and the album does sound cohesive but perhaps TOO much. A lot of the songs are very similar sounding to me, but it’s really not my cup of tea, so what do I know?
 
#4 and just under 7k. So she should stay top ten which must be an expected result for her.
 
I bought the vinyl today and I’m going to the signing tomorrow

I think Perrie would’ve been on about 9/10k given it finished on 15k or so and had a few signings etc later in the week, so she seems reasonably on par with her.

Jade finished with 23k so I would guess she would be around 13-14k by this point.
 
Goodbye Goodmorning is great, has a real SZA vibe, it’s my favourite off the album but I really do like almost all of it
 
Thats a great result, and yes all three at #3 is quite something :o :D
 
Venue downgrade for the opening night of the tour in Dublin on Monday 🥴
 
I will be there though! Too many BOPS in the oeuvre :disco:
 
Wonder if this will generate more £ than the album?
