I don't know if I should have listened to the song alone first because that cheap ass video didn't do it any favours.

I'm voting Funf

Is there any precedent for a country receiving 0 televote points 3 years on the trot?

I genuinely think this has a good chance of doing the Jury/Televote nul double.

I will give you that this one doesn't have the excuse of being written by people speaking English as a foreign language.
Yes it does, it's mostly written by Danes.

I'm trying I really am, but no, it's all so annoying and off-putting. What does "if only there was a language I could count in to make me feel better" even MEAN. I also can't get past all the "lol aren't we typically British" tropes the BBC are obsessed with sometimes. LOL beans!

I guess no German entries received televote points between 2019 and 2021, but 2020 wasn’t their fault. They also followed up with a jury nul-pointer in 2022 (with 6 whole televote points).

For reasons I can't truly explain I clicked on a GBNews article about it and then even more inexplicably I looked at the comments

I actually do think it might be the worst thing we've sent since Electro Velvet. It's got all the same 'this only works on levels that feel like they've completely misunderstood what works at Eurovision' traits, while being execrably annoying the whole way.

At least there's the faint sense that THEY know it's shit too because it's the 17th choice on the list.

I really like it… 😂 came here expecting to hear a positive response. Easily best thing we’ve sent since Spaceman. It’s catchy; the playing with the time signature and tempo at the end is fun. I honestly think it will pick up some points from both jury and public. Not like a winner, but easily EASILY more likeable than that racket last year.

I quite like it, chorus was in my head earlier :D and I think it could score better than Remember Monday, and definitely better staging 🪄

I think we're just showing this year's contest the REVERENCE and SERIOUSNESS and QUALITY it deserves

And I admire the BRAVERY of submitting a song title with numbers, because the headlines about our inevitable score now write themselves

It’s basically a DIRTY PROTEST.

I do feel like the two or three people on here who actually liked that stupid song from last year - I can’t even remember their name - and that maybe I’m just hearing something different, but I honestly think it’s decent. 🤷🏻‍♂️

The thing is, I didn't particularly like What The Hell Just Happened, but that at least did have a much clearer route to a respectable result (go hard for jury votes - which they did make it to the top 10 for) than this does.

There'll also be LOOK MUM NO POINTS

This band is claiming that they were in contention for the UK entry this year

I definitely think CAPERCAILLIE WITH A DROP would have been a better approach, even if poor Fulenn was cruelly snubbed when France tried similar.

The UK at 9th in the betting odds since this was revealed - which that dirge from last year never managed to do. We shall see.
