I think she’s mentioned it before but I just love her talking about being a Carola stan on a UK interview. :disco:

Also she worded it very diplomatically, but she clearly holds the Calum Scott version of DOMO in exactly the level of disdain it deserves.

I'm not a big Robyn person, although I loved Honey. This album isn't grabbing me.

Oh she swerved that question magnificently!

Bless her, very much at pains that she does not want to diss anyone but she lets you know.

When she was asked about Harry Styles she switches to how great all the other supporting acts are.

very much in line with this iconic interview from when she supported Katy Perry on the Teenage Dream tour

Interviewer: You're opening for Katy Perry this summer—how did that happen?
Robyn: I was asked by her to do it and thought it was a good way of getting to know her audience. It's bigger than mine.
[Laughs]
Interviewer: And are you a fan of hers?
Robyn: You know what? I have to go now.
[Giggles]

I didn't expect to find her so engaging! I can't recall ever watching an interview before.

Light Up and Into the Sun are my current keepers. They certainly flash away in style.

I was not familiar with this remix but it pops off. great perf for 6 Music Festival.

After giving it some time to bed in, I’m ready to declare this album another Robyn triumph. Should never have doubted my queen. :disco:

Amazon seem to have pulled a switcheroo and changed their exclusive signed art card listing to just an art card. No signature on my copy, autopen or other

Edit: I got a refund and to keep the CD, after telling them on chat I did not want the inconvenience of returning, so that will do.

I can already say that this album has had more of an impact on me than Honey. I say ‘album’ without being sure whether I should call it that when it clocks in at 29 minutes :eyes:

I'm teetering on the verge of liking it a lot and loving it now.

But it does need another couple of tracks.

I don't think Light Up could be any more up my street even if you changed the artist to Appleton. Its sublime.

As an album I think I am fine with nine tracks and half an hour or so, despite the eight year absence and year working in Max Martin's studio.

Into The Sun is a fitting closer. I love the scream in the background after 'burn on the entry' :disco:

But now the poll appears to relate to the album rather than the single.

We ought to be more proactive starting new threads rather than updating existing ones, even more so for acts who we have a forum for.

the Body Talk strategy was mad chart wise. what a waste with the EPs.

With Every Heartbeat aside, Robyn is the very definition of a diva who is NOT ABOUT chart positions

Was Body Talk part 3 ever released in the UK physically? Or did we just go to compilation thing?

It was never actually its own EP - all the tracks were just on Body Talk in full, iirc
It definitely existed in some form - perhaps not even official. And was originally conceived that way, wasn't it?
