5 part drama. Canal Street bar owner feuds with neighbour. Probably fucks him too.
Isn't that quite a lot of Londoners? Is there a wiki for it or something - what did he doooo?
I'll watch anything he writes but right now my preference would be for a fly-on-the-wall show about him (63) and his 27 year old boyfriend. I'm glued to their instagrams. They just had a LOVELY TRIP to Venice and on the Orient Express

Russell is a talent, but he’s also an old fool i’m afraid. But hey, as long as they are both getting what they want out of it.I'll watch anything he writes but right now my preference would be for a fly-on-the-wall show about him (63) and his 27 year old boyfriend. Oh they're always DREADFUL but that (and being able to dig into exactly why the latest one is dreadful) is half the fun franklyI absolutely cannot with Russell T Davies shows about insufferable older gays monologuing theatrically about the state of the world. Hard pass.

The monologue in Cucumber about having a wank over Ryan Reynolds! (?)There is a fascinating tension in his work between his two modes; "corporate mandated diversity training" and "creepy fanfic written with one hand".
This feels unfortunately TRUE TO LIFE!Also the older guy just waiting for a weak mental health moment from the younger guy so he can sex with him.
I think most people in their mid 60s, even those in the media would have to live in a tiny bubble not to have any friends who aren't gender critical.Don't know any queer space I'm a part of that would tolerate that nonsense.
