It doesn’t matter that the defender touched the ball because he didn’t intentionally play the ball. And, apparently, the ball contains a chip which can tell when it has been touched, however slightly. Obviously, the goal should have been given in spite of all that because fuck Ronaldo.
 
Also all this fawning over that cunt scoring his first World Cup knockout goal. He’s now scored just as many as Harry Maguire for fucks sake.
 
I have been told by someone who lives here that I absolutely should not let anyone know I am English or wear my England shirt out on the day of the match as, “you will be killed. Seriously, this is a third world country, Ecuador players got death threats, you will not survive.”

I mean, they smashed the city up when they won, let alone if they lose…

I've seen something on Reddit of a car driving through a crowd in Mexico City and the crowd apparently killed the driver.

So I think you're safe to wear your Engerlund top, just don't drive any cars through any mobs.

Severe thunderstorms forecast for the original start time. It MAKES SENSE, plus ratings here will be massive. I suppose it’s much easier to do during the knockouts when there’s less matches per day.

Imagine having to stay up until 1am on a Monday only for it to be delayed two hours? :D

If it stays that temperature that’s good for England but I dunno, the ‘feels like’ temp in Mexico City can be something entirely
 
I mean, it doesn’t look THAT bad weather wise! You have to wonder if it’s an excuse as it very much suits the audience AND the organisers. No one wants a whole day of Mexican drinking before they potentially go out.
