I imagine a lot of people would feel uneasy slathering their chicken burgers in ordinary honey. You have honey. You have hot sauce. Pick one or the other. Or indeed both.
But fuck off combining them.
Also a lot of hot sauces have extraneous ingredients in them like onion and garlic - combing that with honey might not work for a lot of people. You have honey. You have hot sauce. Pick one or the other. Or indeed both.
But fuck off combining them.
This I agree with.Yeah like fried chicken works with hot honey as does pizza, but it has limited use cases and doesn't warrant 39834290342 brands on a supermarket shelf.
Which was precisely my point when I started this thread.Yeah like fried chicken works with hot honey as does pizza, but it has limited use cases and doesn't warrant 39834290342 brands on a supermarket shelf.
Ooh I love a good chicken burger. In fact to be honest the whole concept of a chicken burger is NOT MY VIBE but that's for another thread.
I'd say more salted caramel. In that people seem to have forgotten that unsalted caramel exists.I hate honey full stop.
But it’s just the new PULLED PORK, isn’t it? That one faddy thing that filters through to every menu. See also smash burgers currently.

I'm partial to Popeyes.
Hot Honey works on some sushi rolls. Don't @ me!

BUT a 2 x smash burger option does get more of that sweet sweet malliard reaction shit on the outside. Which is as much as a dopamine trigger as 4 pints and a bump (plus second hand smoke)
but didn't really GO and on the whole was just so unnecessary.
I must try it immediately. This did tickle me:
Next time, take one for the team and report back.I noticed today when I was perusing UberEats (and ordering a) McDonalds the McMuffins could feature an exciting hot honey option. Almost tempted but you don’t want to risk it with a McMuffin do you.
But call me when they’re putting peanut butter on those bad boys.
