Gladiators (BBC reboot)

I was hoping for the peoples winner Tyler to be introduced for the much needed SHORT KING representation
 
Well season 4 has started filming and here are some big spoilers from what’s been filmed so far
4 new gladiators: Emporer, Huntress, Highlander and Gold Star

Axed: Giant, Athena, Bionic, Comet (possibly Phantom)

Out this season due to injury: Cyclone, Fury


Only 4 events filmed per episode plus eliminator

Some audience members are saying the vibe is off in the arena and supposed friction among certain gladiators (Dynamite and Nitro)

At least 1 new event: Plummet

IF PHANTOM'S GONE I'LL FUCKING RIOT. I won't miss the others.

Gutted about Cyclone who was an MVP of this year's series for me.
 
:D at the vibe comment. Let's hope so. Agree that Phantom is the one out of that lot who should have stayed. The others absolutely no charisma.
 
Athena and Comet I won't miss. Sad for Phantom but he doesn't appear to have said anything YET.

Hoping Cyclone recovers in time for Strictly (wishful thinking)
 
Yeah, Phantom is the only one that I'd miss from that lot. Seeing him burst from the shadows in Unleash was always a highlight.
 
I did fancy wooden Bionic a bit

Love the Sheffield audience members being able to pick up on friction and off vibes.
 
Looks like it’s Mark Clattenburg who’s the gladiator related Strictly sign up this years, he’s also missing from the first 2 episodes too.

I was hoping for Phantom on Strictly this year, but if he's been axed from Gladiators I imagine that's never happening :(
 
No Phantom and no Lee?? It'll all be falling on Legend as the Gladiators star I want to be railed by
 
Cyclone really eased into her character in the last series too. She was a bit too aggressive in her first series, but last year it was a lot more tongue in cheek and played up to the pantomime of it all.
 
I never thought to look up some of the names. Cyclone came on leaps and bounds last season - that's quite shocking actually.
 
Cyclone was the single female Gladiator from this new run that I thought was up there with NIGHTSHADE. and in terms of all round the ultimates Jet and Lightinng, she was superb. Such a shame.
 
Apparently Harry just replaced him for Unleashed, and he could do the rest? According to The Sun at least

Will he be there for sketches with Legend?
 
WTF? If it’s just for comedy then OK, but some of his injuries as well as his age would surely put him at a massive disadvantage.
