I didn't realise she isn't legally allowed to hire her own lawyer. It could make speaking out against Jamie almost impossible. I wonder if her boyfriend is still on the scene, or if he has control of her social media?

What?? That is ridiculous! Does she have ANY human rights?
 
It's conservatorship law apparently. Because they're only placed on the severely mentally unwell who are deemed unable to live their own life. It sounds fucked up!

To be fair she does have the slowest progressing form of dementia (check the legal docs) that she allegedly was diagnosed with over a decade ago... when will your favs?

Apparently she supports the #freeBritney movement and has endorsed some posts on social media favoring it- same as Britney's sister Jamie Lynn...
 
It is all very strange. Why does her dad pull the strings? Did he not almost DIE not so long ago?
 
I also don't know where this is going. I find it odd that she suddenly has stopped working full stop these past two years. Maybe that's a good thing if the residency, touring, interviews, recording etc was taking a toll on her mental health, as she rarely seemed ENTHUSED to be on stage, but I feel like something is AWRY.

They used it as an excuse to cancel her Domination residency. What I find more ODD is that he physically abused Sean Preston (or maybe the other one, I don't remember) and it was seemingly met with a shrug of the shoulders and he continues to control every aspect of her life.
 
She seems completely not with it in a way that she didn't before. She was robotic and awkward and now she seems a bit more... animated, but it feels very off. If the boyfriend is really her handler I guess he's there to keep an eye on her for Jamie and that's how she's trapped. It would make sense of why she can't be vocal on social media about anything that's going on. But surely if Jamie-Lynn supports #FreeBritney, the mother also knows something is wrong and could begin legal action against Jamie? It's really weird.

I guess she had a massive mental breakdown last year when she went to rehab for a bit, and since then she's under tighter control.

Yes I think they were preparing some new material for the Domination residency that never happened. After the random push for "Mood Ring", I think a "Brightest Morning Star" re-release/campaign/remix package is more likely than a new album...
 
Maybe she'd do well just being a feature on songs for now.

On a flick through he doesn't give much away does he. He deflects any question about what Britney thinks about the conservatorship. And I lost patience even he says it's crap that his family has so many strong women
