Today should be beer and buses day on the island but it's been cancelled. So we are doing trains and gin instead. Not quite got the same ring to it.
 
My flatmate showed up last night but has gone again, if you’re leaving can you JUST GET ON WITH IT?!?

In other news, I’ve work up with a cold and I’m fuming about it. I don’t have TIME to be sick right now.
 
I woke up at 7 and couldn't sleep again. I shouldn't have downed my gin directly before bed, that always fucks my sleep. AND my knees hurt due to being 6 foot 5 and sleeping in a bed designed for somebody under 6 foot :rolleyes: saturday is off to a GREAT START
 
I thought I'd missed something in a morning thread during the week. Glad to know I'm not the only one anxiously waiting for details.

There are just so many things that don’t ADD UP with him. He quit his job in very odd circumstances then pretended to be on holiday on his Instagram so he didn’t have to go to a meeting with his boss even though he was in the flat. He told the landlord his mum had an accident and he had to live with her as she lives alone in Newcastle, but told me that she lives with her rich husband in Hastings.
 
He also borrowed £40 from me as he ‘lost his bank card’. Then when he sent me the cash it ‘went to the wrong account’.

He sounded like trouble when he walked in and tried to straight boy seduce you. After which he'd probably have just walked past you with a knowing grin, saying nothing.

I think you should ask him to go.
