I think if Trump ran as a third-party candidate, the interest in prosecuting him would suddenly become overwhelming....at the moment, he's a useful idiot, good at drumming up a certain type of support. But as soon as he becomes harmful to the Republican party, they'll get rid of him. Jail, please!
 
Bizarrely, it's looking increasingly likely that the Republicans are going to scrape to their house victory thanks to a clutch of against-trend wins in New York, which is usually one of the bluest places in the country.

What a weird election!

Looks like the Wisconsin senate seat is now being called for the Republican (Ron Johnson)

So now the Democrats can only afford to lose one more of Arizona, Nevada and Georgia.

I feel conflicted about Biden running in 2024. On the one hand, he is very old and not that popular and wasn’t my first choice in 2020.

But I am happy with how he’s doing as president mostly, the Democrats have done well in the midterms, and I can’t think of someone who’s more likely to win in 2024

It explains a lot about his reactions and behavior if he used the Justice Department and FBI to help DeSantis in 2018 and then got shut down by everyone around him when he tried doing the same for himself in 2020. "I rigged that ungrateful man's election for him" is a great start to things.
 
So if I’m getting this right, the election was being stolen from desantos in 2018 but trump stopped it? But yet he didn’t stop the steal in other states???
