Sending in federal goons to selectively stop vote counting in Broward County feels like the sort of thing that should have come out by now, but...worth more of journalists' time to focus on this perplexing bit than the drama of it all (so not a chance).

The problem is it could be real (and illegal I’d hope) but also could be a complete lie

Or he's telling the truth as he knows it but it's just his own demented power fantasy. Like those in the know saying that he knew he was lying about 2020 fraud at first, but somewhere along the line it became his new reality.
 
Which Democrat could realistically beat DeSantis in 2024? I dunno if Biden is the man for that.

Late Boebert comeback as the karmic price for a slow-arriving Kari Lake loss (and halting her ascent to national party star) would feel like an overall win.
 
True, but the way things are going Boebert’s seat might actually be the decider on the house, bizarrely.
 
Literally anything over Kari Lake is an overall win. I do not care for that woman ONE BIT. One of the worst candidates ALL term.
 
Its looking like the Democrats are going to win Senate seats in Arizona and Nevada (and also hopefully governors in those but its less clear). Not called yet, but looking good
 
Ooh, if the Democrats can win all three of the remaining Senate seats, they'll have the option of telling one of Manchin and Sinema to fuck off, when necessary.

I hope Sinema is primaried in 2024. Arizona has shown it will elect actual Democrats
 
From what I've read, Sinema getting Primaried is highly likely, if she doesn't walk away first to save face. She can presumably see the writing on the wall - even her own house members are openly criticising her now and she was invisible on the campaign trail.

Manchin they'll probably keep. He may be a corrupt big oil schill, but the very things that make him hated nationally make him popular at home, and it'd be very challenging to get any other ostensible Democrat elected in West Virginia.
 
Yeah Manchin isn’t my favorite (or in my top 49) senators, but I can’t see anyone else winning in West Virginia. That’s why Sinema makes me so angry, she doesn’t have to be doing this

Joe Biden. Not sure my takeaway from these election results would be that the country is just screaming out for some freak who'll bang on about the transgenders and critical race theory and them teaching about the LGBTQs in schools. That platform just mortified itself nationally, let alone fronted by some camp damp cardboard in a suit who malfunctions awkward silences every so often.

Nevada's done, CCM's won - they haven't called it yet but it's horrendously obvious given Laxalt's only barely ahead, she's smashing count drops from Clark county by 30.point leads when she only needs mid teens, and the rest is all due her way. Find me anyone alive who thinks that Thiel freak is winning Arizona at this point either
