it is of course dead at work, which means i am sitting on my phone doing Duolingo.
What language you doing?
¿POR QUE?
Ugh I’m on vacation worrying about my apartment. Someone I know well but not super close with wanted to give me his old bed and table as I had just moved and didn’t have any furniture, and he was also moving and downsizing (it costs a lot to dispose of stuff like that in japan).
Since I was going to be on a trip when he was moving, I gave him a spare key. That was all ok, he dropped off the furniture today. But instead of putting the key through the door, he put it in my mailbox downstairs which doesn’t lock or anything, so in theory anyone could take it.
I mean I don’t actually have much worth taking since I just moved it and most of it is ungainly furniture, but it’s making me itchy and I can’t really do anything about it until I get back in 3 days :/
Isn't there a distinct lack of crime in Japan anyway?
yeah, it’s true. I know I’m overreacting, and yet part of me is still going “and yet...”
The afternoon is really dragging. People can be so fucking BORING at times, eh?
Want to finish off my accounting?
In what sense of the phrase "finish off"? Cos I could destroy it permanently with no real difficulty.
We've just had our first person leave the office saying "see you next year"

I've been listening to Roxy Music all afternoon, what a group.
Wasn't planning on getting dressed today but I need to go to the supermarket and I'm just not chavvy enough to go out in pyjamas no matter how soft and fluffy they are.
Oh go on. If there's one time of year you can get away with it, this is it.
Up to a point. Once Eno bunks off, it goes right downhill within 2 albums.
I don't have any footwear that'll go with PJs! Can't drive in my slippers because they have dog-heads that stick up and will surely get caught in the car's pedals.

Gingerbread Matchmakers reduced to 50p a box in Tesco, I bought ten boxes. Arrived at the checkout and lady asked how many there were and I replied "10, don't judge me!".

Are you all better now @Rita ?
