It always (slightly) bothered me that she sings "I Get So Lonely" but the song title is "I Get Lonely"... :david:

Yeah but this is the same JARKETTE that declared Erotica sultrier than Bedtime Stories a mere few days ago... So yeah, context.
 
Rope Burn is absolutely DELICIOUS. this is the only kind of ballad this album REALLY needed. definitely passes the Jarqueline sultry test with flapping curtains.

The song changes all the time doesn't it? I'm sure I saw a video where the tying up thing was done to DICKIPLINE (tee hee hee) and some queen was screaming and writhing pretending to be aroused.
 
'Anything' really should have been called 'Nothing'.

And then 'Nothing' should have been called as 'Nothing Again' down the line... :bad:

Yes she has done the same schtick since 1993 I'm pretty sure, along with the "whimsical" set up where she sings an "Escapade" medley for the 1000th time...
 
"Anything" is a bit unnecessary but still miles better than the sex ballads she shat out albums later.
 
Anything is such a good wind down as we approach the close. There are so many highs on this album

planning global tours and then scouring the news to find new excuses to jancel takes up all of her time. surely you don't expect her to rehearse new routines?

I guess she tries her hand at the 'Heal The World' Michael schtick with this but it's still icky no matter which sibling sings this sort of shite..

It’s definitely an album of two halves, I agree I Get Lonely could perhaps come earlier.

Together Again would serve better as the transition pice from the first half to the second than What About... but hey, it’s a fabulous album and 11 to me had fabulous taste picking this album up, it’s been a great listen revisiting it.
