Possibly, who knows? Either way it seems a slight thing to have this reaction, but who knows what it may have triggered for whatever reason.

I rather suspect I sealed the deal in the Dermot Murnaghan topic, when I asked him what the fuck he was talking about (which was a very valid question). I felt like we'd built up enough rapport to justify it, but clearly not.

Odd lad, but I thought he fit in quite well. He absolutely was drinking yesterday.
 
And yes he was day drinking. I think he mentioned it in the daily thread.

And I thought it was quite an inoffensive suggestion to knock the drinking on the head. Lord knows he’s having a shit time of it losing his job.

Drinking and shitposting is not the best outcome though
 
Oh that's a shame. I enjoyed his posts, and of probably all the new members we have had in ther past, what 5 years? He seemed to fit in really well.

This place isn't easy at times, god, bow many times have I FLOUNCED OFF and come back with my tail between my legs? I am glad I am still here though, even though I don't post so much at the moment, it's always good to have a constant.
 
someone who's already that much of a ~quirky gal probably doesn't need to be trashed and posting on moopy. i'm surprised by this though. can we implement a rule whereby you have to be active for six months before you're allowed to throw a fit, delete your account and spend the summer sniffing kitchen chemicals?

A strop on moopy is not a new thing. You’re a good contributor and that’s more important than a few regrettable posts.

I’m not overly familiar with HW but from what I do recall he seemed to have quite a habit of coincidentally bumping into famous people.
