Would’ve been #47 this week if it had been reset. But I’m assuming her label didn’t bother to get it done, so it isn’t in the chart :eyes:
 
To be fair, Madge would absolutely LOATHE an "oldie but goodie" charting higher than nearly everything she's released in the past 15 years.

I doubt it could hope to be THAT big, but I do think with a bit of hype now it's had a reset, it could go quite a lot higher.

I know, it was slightly tongue in cheek. The reason both MOTD and RUTH were hits were because of sustained Netflix viewing. Deadpool leaving cinemas will have a major effect.
 
A absolutely and let’s not forget that LAP is omnipresent in many ways. As is Madonna. So this is a great result and better than what I had expected.
 
Like A Prayer hit double platinum (1.2 million) last week

Certifications these days only factor in post-1994 numbers apparantly, so that 1.2 million is EXCLUDING the original 80s sales.
 
LAP is close to, or has already surpassed, Material Girl as her biggest (solo) song on Spotify, would need to tot up the different versions to be sure.

That's got to be nonsense. Until recently, it wasn't even a million seller and was just edging closer- there's no way it's done stream equivalent 1.2 million from this run, so it must include both.
 
The OCC apparantly claimed it had combined sales of 1.5m when it recharted earlier in the year, so it seems possible
 
It seems obscenely huge, but it is correct that pre 1994 or whatever sales aren’t counted. It sold just under 500k on original release from memory, so if it was at 1.5 million a couple of months back then I guess that tracks given it’s probably doing 10k or so a week since the movie.
