I watched the first two episodes today, and really liked it overall 🤩 both Diane and Sue as Linda and Sue are so good at their roles (except charity shop :D). The son and his bit in the story so far is awful. 😅 I really like Sue's friend Eileen (thanks to her we got Sue! Sue! Sue! :grin:) and hope she still has a notable role later on.
 
Binged this last night - I thought some of the publicity looked awful but saw the clip on TikTok of the interaction between Linda and Tom’s robot and it sold me. Absolutely loved it - although at times it was almost too sad and existential. I cried multiple times.

Part of me feels like the son’s storyline was included to appeal to a younger(ish) audience but all it did for me - also a useless millennial only child - was make me hate myself. Would have happily watched a series just focused on Sue, Linda and her gang.

Watched it all over two nights, an easy watch and I'd give a second series a go, it got so emotional towards the end, but I wouldn't rave over it. The son got too much focus, would prefer less of him and more robot-on-robot interaction. Although the scene in the Brazilian jiu-jitsu class was one of the funniest bits.

Can never go wrong with a bit of Cotton Eye Joe.
 
Telling the children the “scary story” at the camp site, playing Hide & Seek with Sue in the woods!

The other droid falling out of the rollercoaster had me howling. I had to rewind and replay it 3 times :D
 
From comments I've seen on social media, although it clearly isn't for everyone, a lot of the people who like it love it.
