It is scary how much people are relying on this to get through day to day. I work in the medical field and one suggestion they have is using AI services to help “fine tune” care plans and I’m like THAT’S OUR JOB TO MAKE THEM. A computer doesn’t need to be involved in a plan of care… my EYES LOOOKING AT THE PATIENT needs to be involved.

I'm literally facing that right this week. We've all been getting lots of celebratory invites to join "AI University", and lots of the Exec making giddy LinkedIn posts about it, and it really feels like a PR stunt rather than a genuine reach. I'm being tricked into befriending my replacement.
