ASFM: Discovision Presents the VIEWING GALAS - ***PART 2 TONIGHT 12/9 8pm ish***

It’s nice to have Panik Records back. I’ve been worrying.

I wonder is it on purpose that this sounds like an 80s Sports Show theme tune

Well I'm not sure I like...

Addison Rae sings like someone who is primary occupation is a social media influencer.

Always fascinated when someone submits a song without a video - suggests real confident energy to assume a song is so SPECTACULAR you don't need to hold mopsy's visual attention :disco:

*falls asleep*

Even Moopy couldn’t fall for this.

The letters are moving so it’s practically a video

3. Korova Milk Bar

Presents

Desperate Journalist

"Why Are You So Boring?"

I feel like my obsessive refreshing means that I’m almost a song ahead of everyone else. I’m already very much enjoying Desperate Journalist.

I suppose Desperate Journalist has the tempo of a dance song. I imagine the straights getting sweaty to this in a dingy club, the dirty reprobates.

4. Pump Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge (Now Closed)

Presents

Carol Douglas

"Doctor's Orders"

Song 2: I really thought we were in for two playlists full of deep house, emotional trance, Balkan EDM and happy hardcore filth. I forgot that ASFM is known for people entering and voting for the exact same type of song regardless of the theme.

You can tell I random ordered these at least. Should really have checked and started with at least ONE straight up dance tune!

(There are definitely some to come)

It was quite a bit vaguer than that. If anything, Addison Rae is the most objectionable one so far. It’s just a standard ASFM song, only worse.
Yeah, weirdly I can get why Desperate Journalist was included in a dance round; it's the sort of thing I would have shuffled to down Hawthorns in Bolton on Indie nights of a Thursday.
