Back to work for some people Wednesday!

Does anyone else go into their YouTube history and systematically delete things they’ve watched so YouTube will just DROP IT? I don’t want to clear the whole thing

For the last time, I don’t need to see any of Ann Reardon’s HAHH TA COOK THETT

Are you doing veganuary again @Sheena ? I just popped to lidl and picked up their brochure, I'm quite impressed with their range :o

I think so. But it’s always so much harder to be healthy (dieting) and veganuary together. The former feels like my priority as I’ve had so long away from exercise after my op. I haven’t 100 percent decided.

Lidl always do great veganuary stuff. And then abandon it after January, which is rubbish.

Aldi do a really good vegetarian/vegan range all year I find. I've never actually checked Lidl.

I think I could be vegan if it wasn't for eggs and cheddar. And all the little extra things you forgot, like chewy sweets having gelatin.

Vegetarian is much easier. I'd say 90% of my meals are veggie.

Also, after my Reiki, I was unbelievably irritable and grumpy, to the point I want to kill Mandy. Turns out an afternoon in the pub has made me much more relaxed, so I'm sticking to alcohol instead of reiki.

Had a bit of a weird experience in my HOMETOWN WETHERSPOONS this evening.

I was sitting having a meal with my parents. There were two tables further into the pub that were next to each other - one has a group of women and the other a mix of men and women. Both groups were quite drunk, although i’d say the mixed group were worse given that one guy fell off his chair despite it being 6pm. At some point, another man on said mixed table made a paper plane and threw it at my table - I hadn’t noticed but according to my mum he had been staring at us and when he threw the paper plane had said there there was a message in it. I ignored it and didn’t bother picking it up.

Shortly afterwards, the woman from the other table came over and asked if she could have the paper plane and tried to throw it at this bloke and his table. A little while later, I heard the bloke saying something about ‘lesbians.” As the female table left, they made a point of saying they hoped me and my parents had a nice evening and left. We left shortly after where they were in the doorway, sounding angry about the fact that the guy had called their table “lesbians.”

I was quite oblivious while it was all going on but feel quite uncomfortable in the aftermath of it all. It honestly may have been a coincidence but piecing it together makes me feel like it is quite likely I was being targeted for how I look and the women were trying to defend me (without me realising anything was going on, of course! :D) My parents were also quite dismissive of my feelings about it, saying that the guy was shitfaced and that people in the town aren’t “used to seeing people that look like me.” I’m lucky that I haven’t dealt with a lot of open homophobia or transphobia in my life but it remains shit being made to feel unwelcome where I grew up - I was called a tr*nny by a couple of lads when I was here for a period in 2020 as well.

That's shit Tetris :( I would say try not to let it upset you, but I know it's not that easy. Hope you're ok.

I'm sorry @Tetris-Rock - that's a rubbish thing to sit through, least of all around family, not that it would be acceptable anywhere.

And being ignorant in these day and age isn't acceptable anywhere in country. You don't have to live in London to understand how to act around people.

I won't say I'm surprised, but that's not the point.

@Tetris-Rock I'm sorry that those people did that to you and made you feel like that. Like @Star pointed out though, there was a table who had your back without you knowing. The guy was clearly an intellectually-challenged wanker, as were his friends, and sadly these types aren't few and far between.

I'm a bit shocked that your parents made excuses for him though, that wasn't right.
