I meant the general negativity in this thread. From what I can see, most of the fans enjoyed the gigs!
 
And I’m pleased for them if that’s the case :)

Does it have high production values?
Is Keith a good singer?
Is subjecting people to a prayer a normal thing to do?

I know you’re a fan Star and I don’t mean to piss you off but I would say I’m pointing out the obvious.
 
I generally cringe at any references to "god" by celebrities so I can only imagine how I'd feel if I was led through a prayer like that.

It generally always tends to involve Americans I find. The Williams sisters were notorious for it in their winning speeches .....but they are well known Jehovah's witnesses so I suppose you know what you're going to get.
 
Are Kian and Nicky from Westlife in the Keith Duffy league? They’ve had to step up too in recent times, now that Wrstlife are down to three members.
 
Kian definitely is, and Nicky isn’t much better. I believe they both mostly lip sync at Westlife shows, which Shane did for these gigs. Credit to Keith for not doing that I suppose :eyes:

Like God has nothing better to do than orchestrate a Best Actor win or a tennis championship for these people. Ego.
 
I don't know enough about them *shudder* but I thought it was widely accepted that Kian DOESN'T sing.

I'm not disagreeing with any of the above. But coming into this thread it just feels like you've made several posts in a row to sway people's opinions on the gig. How about the other side where people have made posts about how much the gig meant to them? How it was nice to see Mikey is doing 'OK', even if that meant he was only on stage for a short time. They were from an era where bands were never made of being the best singers or dancers, but they were just there to make people happy! I think shows like this are for the fans really.

Loving @Star storming in here and teaching the girls what the straights have had to put up with our years of screaming and crying at even the most mediocre efforts by our divas of choice
