I’ve noticed in a lot of venues the areas right where the camera is always going to be seemed to be reserved for what I imagine is team staff/coaching or for commentary positions and just makes it all look so lacking. The gymnastics is a sell-out but you get huge empty pockets right in sight of the cameras at the front because no one’s filling the spaces reserved for team support.Also the close up shots of the home straight during that 110m hurdles were embarrassing. It was empty!

It has been a more entertaining session this evening despite the weather, especially with the impressive sprints.
