I don’t understand the Christmas relaxation rules, are all pubs and restaurants closed over that period if you’re in tier 3?

Chronically inflamed GI System (lost a lot of weight cause I could barely eat for weeks without cramps/pain/reflux etc) lower colon was so inflamed that I developed abscesses around my coccyx/bum which needed multiple surgeries. It was a grand old time. :disco: (much better now though)

But it changed my appreciation and understanding for the heavy lifting everyone working in hospitals is doing this year. These people were like my family for half the summer.

I mean there’s already been several strains of the virus, it’s quite a NORMAL DEVELOPMENT no? Don’t think there’s any need to PANIC.

I'd be very surprised if anywhere gets moved down from Tier 3 before Christmas. They know that's going to make things worse and they won't want to move areas back into Tier 3 in January if they can possibly help it.

The idea that we’ll be kept in tier 3 despite the massive effort that’s been made to improve our rates (which were low in the first place) is just punishment for the sake of it.

Well thanks Boris and Hancock, I had to spend my birthday at home alone and now I have to spend Christmas Day too. You are disgusting.
 
If we moved to tier two, I would enjoy going out to a restaurant once or twice. But to be honest I think I'd probably rather wait until later in January when it's less likely to be busy anyway.

It's hardly busy here at all. I've been out twice for meals with Mr Sheena and once we were the only people in the restaurant and the second time it was half full at best.
 
The little cafes down my work high street are crazy, I only look in as I walk past but they're just crammed, no space at all. But no one seems bothered. 95% are young people in their 20's or 30's I'd say.
