Got a GP appointment next week to find out why my gut has felt like it's "crowded" for the past few months (anything from IBS to "ascites caused by liver cirrhosis" to colon cancer according to Dr Google, and admittedly there's family history in that last one so I'd rather know sooner rather than later if it's that). Tempted to sack it off though - seems like an unwise place to be visiting in the midst of an exploding pandemic.
Should I start buying food? I don’t trust myself not to just eat it before the isolation begins.

Marry me now pleaseMine have pretty much decided not to leave the house though; I'm supposed to be visiting this weekend so better make sure I swim through a vat of antibac gel before going. The thing is though (because I’ve heard the same concerns from a friend of mine)... they could just as easily get it in the Lidl
Paging @HalliOMG, we totally need a 'What Have You Eaten Today? - Coronavirus Edition' thread![]()
Have UK media outlets been specifically told to include the words "...and had a number of underlying health conditions" to every death?
I guess it stops any panic.
I've already been phoning any of my clients with compromised immunity or COPD/asthma/diabetes etc to do consultations by phone rather than in person. And we're told there's a good chance that will be the case for everyone within a day or two.

But health centres are doing all they can to STOP people going to them who may have the slightest symptom. I imagine you're more likely to get it on a bus or in Lidl, like Zu says.
Maybe irrelevant though, because there's probably a decent chance your appointment will be cancelled if it's considered non urgent.

They’ve closed down Lebanon now. No vacation for Darky![]()

I can't wait for all the panicbuyers to realise, 2 days into their self-isolation, that they didn't buy any pasta sauce...
You don't get that problem with SPAGHETTI HOOPS!
Beans with vegetarian sausages for me.
In the midst of all this horror (and lucky dip excitement), I’d quite forgotten that World War 3 was about to start in January. I presume that’s OFF NOW![]()
EDIT: [TIN RECOMMENDATION REDACTED] in case everyone starts hotfooting it down to Tesco
