Supermarket update: twice as busy as normal for friday night. People with trolleys piled high. No toilet roll, marge, paracetamol, flour or tinned tomatoes. Can only imagine theres a lot of garlic bread being made with tomatoes and laxatives.

Due to complications regarding our weekly shop arising from this, we've had to do an online delivery. An hour lost ended making the order on the website, it then crashed and the order gone. These are the real problems.

I'm crap at that as well. I hate doing a big shop - I can't get my head around what I may want to eat in a few days at all. I much prefer food shopping 3 times a week or so for fresh stuff, according to my mood.

I suppose if I had a family it would be different.

Hun there's plenty of other stuff we do. Digitizing, archiving, sourcing, cataloguing, preserving etc. We have a lot of people working "behind the scenes". The librarians in the reading rooms make up only a small part of the staff.

I may start cataloging and indexing my all-male arthouse film collection when we eventually go into enforced quarantine. Anything to pass the hours.
