The arrival of warm sunny weather has finished lockdown. People clearly feel they've done enough which is hardly surprising given how utterly shit the government have been.
And the Government also talking ad-nauseum about the SACRIFICES people have made. Those sacrifices are going to drag out a LOT LONGER because of this approach, while countries that went all-in fast are going to be able to return to normal a lot quicker. This is what makes me the most furious!

There’s a girl from school on my Facebook moaning that the crowds are dangerous and ruining the beach. In fact it ruined HER visit to the beach.![]()
I walked past a Shisha bar yesterday, packed with student types crammed 3 abreast on outdoor couches, sharing pipes.
Nobody gives a fuck any more.
Will anyone be downloading the app?
Why announce it today if it doesn’t take affect till Monday, as obviously everyone will just be at it this weekend regardless?
Huh? In the UK? How are bars open?!? I've not seen shops, restaurants, bars, pubs open anywhere... I'm confused.
- and someone else had a must-have acupuncture session yesterday. WELL DONE EVERYONE!Huh? In the UK? How are bars open?!? I've not seen shops, restaurants, bars, pubs open anywhere... I'm confused.

I’d have thought it’d be QUITE UNCOMFORTABLE in this heat.My facemasks still haven’t arrived and I have to take a train, a tube and a bus tomorrow.is a scarf useless?
Could you make one of these DIY masks? It'd be better than nothing, I think.

The Brewdog in Merchant City, Glasgow, is doing this too. Shame beer is disgusting though. Where are the overpriced cocktails being delivered from!?On my Saturday walk I went through Earlsfield (moderately busy zone 2/3 London suburb) and there was six pubs open on the high st. You can`t sit in them - takeaway only - but they certainly were doing a decent trade.

M&S were selling face masks when I was in about 15 mins ago. I can't imagine Sainsbury's Tesco etc will be far behind.
(Waitrose will probably want you to walk through a shower and a trough of disinfectant)
were they fancy face masks? Like hand-woven and impregnated with sea salt or something?
I hate Brewdog, they're a complete bag of dicks.
No but they were shaped like Percy Pig.
OMG fantastic! Want! NOW!

were they infused with OINKS?
I don't know. They have started selling a 6% beer named 'Barnard Castle Eye Test' with profits going to NHS charities.I hate Brewdog, they're a complete bag of dicks.
