Are you in Tier 3, soldi? Tier 3 means all pubs and restaurants close here. I think that differs down your way?
I am yes. Pubs and restaurants stay open provided they serve HOT FOOD, until 10 obviously. I’ve still got the gym so I’m coping :)

Yes, at the moment in tier 2 we can eat inside but if we want an alcoholic drink must go and sit outside (no thanks, it’s fucking freezing). Tier 3 means all bars and restaurants close but still have the gym here at the moment in tier 2 and I have no idea if that changes if we go in to tier 3.

Someone get tweeting

I'm not tweeting something that will close my dearly beloved gyms

Boots have also said you shouldn't get a test with them if you actually have symptoms, and if you've been in contact with someone who is infected you shouldn't be venturing out to the shops anyway.... so who are they marketing this to?

Oh wonderful, perfect for people who have symptoms and don’t want to be on the radar for Test and Trace!

Meanwhile in Sweden; the social distancing recommendations for people older than 70 have been lifted, and the limit to public gatherings of 50 has now increased to 300. :DAF::D

I am really jealous of Sweden. What I would give to have my loved ones here for Christmas. :(

I love the freedom that we have, but I really don’t see how the new rules are going to make things better.

Regarding Christmas; I feel like letting people meet their loved ones and gather in bigger groups than usual is just going to put the lives of our elderly in bigger jeapardy.

In fact Christmas must be cancelled! :emoji_santa:

I do agree with you in some ways to be honest. A lot of older people who don’t usually leave the house go to families at Christmas as it is the done thing to do, and if we have a high prevalence of Covid then they are somewhat likely to catch it.

Yes, and especially considering the cold weather meaning people being indoors.

That is a very odd move by Sweden. I agree that it is surely going to put the elderly in jeopardy, and now I’m praying for Shirley Clamp.
