Jenny is great behind the bar at in the Rovers. I don’t think they give the character enough decent material, but as was said above that may be due to how outspoken she is offscreen.
 
I've just had a look at twitter and perhaps it's my algorithm, but far more people seem to be pleased he's gone, but seemingly far more due to him than his character.
 
After 25 years that was a pretty poor send off for Eileen. There was some nice moments but it's all just so bleugh. Eileen was a really strong character at one point especially her early years in the show, it's a shame
 
I quite enjoyed Eileen's final scene. I'm glad they've at least left the door open for her return one day.
 
Losing Gail and Eileen in the space of 6 months feels pretty devastating? Corrie's always had a good roster of older characters who'd been in it for TIME. That's going to change quite quickly.

Ken Barlow and Rita won't see many more Christmases, and Audrey and Roy aren't too far behind them.They should do all they can to hold on to the next generation down. GIVE SALLY WEBSTER A PAYRISE
 
Mick escaping from prison with such ease and then meekly surrendering after a pep talk from SALLY WEBSTER of all people will go down in Coronation Street history as some of the worst storyline in existence.
 
They have more prisoners escape on Corrie than they did on Cell Block H!
 
I've not watched in a few weeks now, Mick escaping from prison does not interest me one bit. We already just had Rob escaping a few months back! Enough of the police garbage!!

Apparently Debbie will still be there well into 2027 according to the actress, so atleast that's something good!

Wasn't he one of the "I'm just asking questions" brigade on Twitter during the pandemic? You know the type who ignores every scientifically-verified answer they get and continue to "just ask questions" ad infinitum.
 
I know someone who lived with him for a while and witnessed first hand what a total conspiracy nutjob he is.
 
Definitely saw that one coming when she started speaking out about the show. It's a shame as when they brought her back it was a comeback that actually worked and she fitted back in really well. She's not a bad character at all when they give her some decent stuff, she has a lot of old Corrie about her. This will probably mean less Rita (or hardly any Rita too)

I'm up to the episode where Theo has just nastily told Todd to sleep downstairs! The cheeky bastard, it's his bloody house! I take it this is going to end up a domestic violence story judging by Theo's behaviour
