I had no idea Into the Nightlife was not the lead single"Same Ol Story" is a lot better than I gave it credit for in '08. Shouldn't have been the lead single over ITNL but it's a BOP WITH A MESSAGE

Maybe it was in the UK but SOS got a proper commercial single release here with a remix package, rollout and everything.I had no idea Into the Nightlife was not the lead single![]()
absolutely living for this narrative of her being FORCE-FED SPARKLY DANCE-POP by the evil gays and going through the motions with gritted teeth for the PINK POUND!I think this is the one she hated, no? Seem to remember her not even remembering the (quite simple) lyrics when forced to perform it live by a fan

All for a Billboard 200 #41 !absolutely living for this narrative of her being FORCE-FED SPARKLY DANCE-POP by the evil gays and going through the motions with gritted teeth for the PINK POUND!
...which barely even materialised.![]()
Well she did work with Kleerup on it.Forgot all about "Lay Me Down" as well (which I loved just as much at time) - now THIS is so Robyn it hurts
Her voice sounds excellent on Grab a Hold, another underrated moment
