"Same Ol Story" is a lot better than I gave it credit for in '08. Shouldn't have been the lead single over ITNL but it's a BOP WITH A MESSAGE

I seem to recall this middle section being where the album really picks up and Same Ol' Story has already started VERY PROMISINGLY.

it sounds like a really FUNKY REMIX and I'm very INTO IT

Maybe it was in the UK but SOS got a proper commercial single release here with a remix package, rollout and everything.

yeah I'm really vibing with this. it kind of has a singer-songwriter feel to it which fits unexpectedly well with the big gay dance remix sound. could be a 10 with more plays.

"Raging Storm" is my slept on track of 2008. Love the menacing production - such a contrast to SOS.

all of the Richard Morel produced tracks are GAY AS HELL. Raging Storm is proper hazy floorfiller at 3AM when you're off your tits on poppers. love the late 90s TRANCE VIBES!

"Lay Me Down" sounds the most of its time of the big hitters for me so far but I still love it

I do not remember "Give it Up" (aside from the title) AT ALL
 
"Give it Up" is cute filler, the production elevates it... just needs a bit of a stronger melody

I love Grab A Hold. She worked with Dragonette on it and it sounds more them than her but it works for me.

Set your heart is another fab dance track that I will need repeat plays to differentiate more. Grab A Hold reminds me so much of her 80s stuff, and I love it. Hints of melancholy

Grab a Hold is maybe a bit more dated production-wise but I LOVE the flourishes in the chorus - not sure what that instrument is (a bass guitar?) but it gives me WARM CHILLS. a late album highlight. this record really hits its groove in the second half after the dodgy sequencing/sonic outliers of the first.

I think its her voice her thats reminding me of something 80s, maybe All Through The Night or When You Were Mine
