Well then we're back to the question of why you would treat property as an investment rather than a home.
I'm sure you can be an honorary gay in the aforementioned Moopy Ghetto. Well you will be if they want any of my millions to go towards it, anyway.I can’t see myself buying a house in this country. I’m going on A Place in the Sun so Jasmine can set me up with a two bedroom townhouse with sunroom and semi-separate kitchen.
OMG, Star could totally set up MOOPYTOWN
It will have to be somewhere GRIM initially, but imagine a GAY GHETTO![]()

Oh sure, if you can afford it and it makes you happy, go ahead!
I was just thinking about the maintenance, and the fact that if you wanted to move on at any point you'd be more or less back at square one.
I have a friend who lives on one in Cambridge, but he's a full hippy and sure as hell didn't pay that much for it!
I don't have kids, I plan on releasing equity in my property when I'm older so I can go on lots of holidays!
I think Mr Kate's friend paid about £20k for his. But over 3 years later he still has no bathroom and does his business in a bucket.![]()

Reading this thread is really dispiriting - things are so much worse than were even 10 years ago.
And I could finally set up my dream of a Moopy Retirement Home for ageing homosexuals
Imagine the fun we'd have with our live ASFM/Karaoke/album plays in the communal living room.

Unfortunately the rate of worsening only seems to be accelerating.Reading this thread is really dispiriting - things are so much worse than were even 10 years ago.
What a pile of cunt LEASEHOLD is as well.
Genuinely can't believe the prices of some areas, or why people would choose to pay that much to live there.

I'm sure we could buy a LOVELY house in Weston Super Mare
But I'd never call it LIVING
I read that as “shoplifting business”Unfortunately the rate of worsening only seems to be accelerating.
When my parents bought in 1964, the house cost £600. Obviously wages were a lot lower then, but my dad was 20 and working for my Gay Great Uncle RIP at that point, who had a shopfitting business. My uncle bought the house outright for him, and my dad paid him back out of his wages over 5 years.
Imagine.
It autocorrected as that as wellI read that as “shoplifting business”

Out of curiosity am I right to assume that 800/month rent for a terraced in Luton 20 years ago could have possibly be somewhat overpriced?Reading this thread is really dispiriting - things are so much worse than were even 10 years ago.
