What time is Stacey’s bloody flight? She’s getting a black cab presumably to Heathrow (which will cost HOW MUCH?) as there certainly aren’t any flights to Brazil from Stansted, Luton or London City. She could easily get to the Elizabeth Line to get to Heathrow faster and for a minimal cost.

Presumably you get to the airport at least 2 hours before the flight. What time is this flight? 2am?
 
I'm assuming Lacey plans to come back and that's why no Julia's theme no? I think she will be missed from the show. They need to try and make Zoe a teeny bit more likable fast.
 
I’m assuming that Gillian Wright was off sick or on leave for Lacey Turner’s last scenes hence the contrived tube stuff with Priya.
 
Poor Ben. All that effort to get them together and they break them up so Callum can be with Johnny even though they have NO CHEMISTRY.
 
I’d quite like Stuart to return every now and again after that. Also just glad to see they brought an appropriate person back for a funeral (for an ultimately insignificant character anyway), which they often completely forget about even for major characters.

The second half was better than the first half, which was a bit too heavy-handed with the message for me to get really into the story.
 
God that was quite chilling and dark for pre watershed last night wasn't it. But very well done.
 
Zoe is coming into her own at the moment, thank god, she was not great when she first came back
 
It's been a good and suitably rapid conclusion to that part of the storyline for both the Slaters and the Fowlers. The recast Vicky (+handbag) has been excellent and indeed a good opportunity for Zoe to integrate properly.

Good opportunity to have various characters GOBBING OFF in the Vic. Please don't give Priya big storylines, just have her drunk in the Vic commenting on everything that happens.
 
Absolute hats off to Max Murray playing Joel. Quite a brave role to take at such a young age. Didn’t realise his grandfather is a legendary songwriter (Mitch Murray) and Mazz Murray is his aunt.

Get ready for yet more clunky exposition and explanations tonight.
 
I really wish EastEnders characters wouldn’t automatically assume that if they admit to being involved in an accident then it automatically means PRISON. Then they run away and make it worse. They also get these court dates amazingly quickly considering the state of the court system these days.

Zoe getting all mad there is also ridiculous. If Sharon is searching for DNA links to Dennis then that’s not going to be much help if he’s not the father, so what was she exactly supposed to do? Also paying some private investigator a few hundred quid isn’t quite an unreachable amount of money to lose all hope.
