EastEnders 2026

Not saying EE is on its arse (in the eyes of Moopy at least), but there were 16 pages of the 2025 thread by the same date last year
That would have included the 40th anniversary stuff.

But it's had a rough few months. I do get the sense there's some recovery, but pushing terrible characters like Josh and Jasmine isn't helping. I don't think Bea has either (although I have enjoyed her).

That said Bea going mental and La Voix was a great episode.

Yes clearly Priya is playing a huge part in the events leading up to new year, which does beg the question how they’re going to get around the actress being pretty pregnant in real life.

The actress is pregnant? I cant see anything online about that?

I need to watch the New Year spin off episode AGAIN to remind me, given all thats going on at the moment

A BBC controller should have to sign off on these things, too many short lived executive producers have been hastily allowed to kill “legacy” (though this stint has been a flop) characters when their relationship with the actor has soured or their much hyped flagship storylines as EP have flopped. See Pam St.Evans who only wanted a year off from the show.

Oh it’s kicking off :D she unfollowed the executive producer too. She’s said for years and years that having Michelle Ryan back was her biggest wish for Kat

:D

Incredible work

The whole Zoe comeback has been a BALLS UP from start to end. The decision to have her disappear for a couple of months after her first return episode was a stupid one - cooling off all initial hype. They then set up plots like Max for very quick DUFF DUFF hits that were then forgotten a week later. And then wrote her like an even more MISERABLE Hayley Slater, and were shocked that the audience haven't taken well.

It's been obvious where this was heading with Kat taking the matriarchal role for most of Jasmine's recent dramas, and Zoe increasingly in the background.

On an Eastenders deep dive and have discovered the actor who plays Joel is a low key second generation nepo baby. To add to the keeping it in the family theme the actress who played his mum is his real life auntie.

GONE MAD!

Surely to god they aren’t going to have Max, Lauren, Oscar AND Jack all in love triangles this year! :manson:

It's only for a few episodes right? She's touring in The Curious Incident which I am going to see in the spring of next year.

I believe so. Is she in jail? I’m assuming someone will end up in jail with Janine if so like Sharon and Chrissie.

The ending yesterday was quite predictable. But would a drink driver serving 8 months really be mixed in with serial killers?
