I hope so. It's been proven that we're not equipped for the sheer quantity of information and what's happened with Twitter also proves that, once the rich get involved with something, they will completely destroy its actual value in pursuit of revenue.

I think parents do tend to vote in what they think are their children's best interests, but their interpretation of that wildly varies.

I imagine a lot of Tory/right wing voters think a lot more in terms of stuff like avoiding inheritance tax than, say, protecting the climate or safeguarding democracy.

I do, it is basically just chat rooms you can set up, and jump into voice and video chat if you want. Originally popular with gamers (which is why I am on it), it is spreading for non-gaming communities too.

Yeah, a couple of podcasts I listen to have Discord communities and it's beginning to sound attractive.
