It's a subtle difference but I did feel like that was borderline at times. This does have much more of a feel of them being lined up in front of a firing squad and I REALLY hope they won't be doing it for the final.

What an odd decision. It’s rather humiliating for the non-qualifiers, particularly those who may be established artists having to go through some X Factor style elimination.

Especially after the efforts they’ve gone to protect the acts this year.
