Golly gee, this empty vessel of a song with a pleasant stage show is exactly the sort of thing the audience will vote for if they're too indecisive to pick between their actual favourites.

Yes! I fucking hated how this did well. The mix of "unremarkable pop banger" with "oh those light cartoons are cute" clearly sold it to the easily pleased. Plus something about Mans feels so unlikable. Of course you'd let him turn you inside out but I'd be locking the door as soon as his sexy ass was gone.
