Friday attacked by wild boars

I'm going to wetherspoons today for lunch and drinks.

I've not been since opening the shop because I've spent most of my socialising time in Cowes where there is beautiful little pubs. And now I'm no longer excited about wspoons :(

One of my ears has taken this super-mega-cold really badly, the other one is like 'meh, whatevs' and has carried on hearing throughout. That said, neither has actually leaked so I don't feel I can say I feel @ZenGiraffe 's pain.

Spoons didn’t have any pizzas when I was in yesterday :(

BREXIT BRITAIN

Have we seen these pizza vending machines that are popping up? Quite a boon possibly.

Do you people have NO principles ?
Lining that cunts pockets ?!
When other pubs start pricing drinks/food as cheap then I’ll boycott it.

Spoons is just convenient if anything, and you don’t get judged for drinking before lunchtime :disco:

Well I won't be lining it much now if there's no pizza :(

What did he do...is this about the furlough lockdown thing?

Absolutely this :D

Plus my principles are set very low.

And any CEO of a big company is probably a MASSIVE RIGHT WING CUNT so let’s not start throwing stones now.

Yes plus Brexit and every other abhorrant view he holds.
Wait I've not seen his Brexit and other views?

But you know, if everyone boycotted the place, hundreds of people would lose their jobs...

Well you aren't a student, I expect better from you. I always thought you were so CLASSY.
The Gamble of moopy
I haven't been to a wetherspoons since march. This is good for me. Last night we went to a posh Cowes restaurant.

But the way he treats his staff is abhorrent, and should not be rewarded.

Boycotts are always difficult because where do you draw the line, but Tim Martin and his company is so clearly evil and well defined that it should be a moral obligation to never set foot in one again.

I just want a breakfast pint ok :(

I do support other pubs. I feel like a pitcher of cocktail and some chicken strips once a year is acceptable tho

Is it because it's not curry night :(

Not sure why Facebook thinks I'm Danish today

Planning my trip to see my mum in a couple of months, and getting unnecessarily excited at the prospect of an overnight layover in Amsterdam  Maybe I'll stalk @Jark while I'm there :disco:

Well I’m in the middle of nowhere, on the way to the beach, and I have a nail in my tire. I found a place to fix it, but what a hassle

Went to a work do on Tuesday night which was jokingly referred to as a super-spreader event.

Four confirmed cases of the 'vids so far. :square:
