Turns out, kids really don't come to houses without pumpkins or decorations any more. They used to. I certainly used to.

Thing is, there were swarms of them on the street. I think they've been specifically told at schools to only go to houses with decorations.
Seems like a logical step. Knocking on dimly lit doors to confused pensioners never seemed efficient.


Ron Jr chose a felt begging basket over a plastic one because he loves the environment, which melted my heart.
Now the little Rupert has just asked me why there is a plastic milk carton in the fridge. If he carries on with this I'm campaigning for Brexit.
