Turns out, kids really don't come to houses without pumpkins or decorations any more. They used to. I certainly used to.

All the sweets for me, then.

We never have anyone, but then that is the joy of living in a top floor flat.

We went to our mates and the doorbell didn't stop ringing, the whole street was like that scene in ET.

We never get anyone.

However, my new neighbour obviously went out to a DO last night and imbibed a significant quantity of the devil's own urine given how she stomped, crashed and smashed her way up the stairs in a manner that suggested she'd gone to her party as a fucking Dalek.

Thing is, there were swarms of them on the street. I think they've been specifically told at schools to only go to houses with decorations.

Seems like a logical step. Knocking on dimly lit doors to confused pensioners never seemed efficient.

Thats what mine did, apparently. I was busy drinking.

We had loads I took great pleasure in scaring the shit out of them all by hiding in the ginnel with a dust sheet on my head. :D
Video on Facebook. :side-eye:

Ron Jr chose a felt begging basket over a plastic one because he loves the environment, which melted my heart.

Now the little Rupert has just asked me why there is a plastic milk carton in the fridge. If he carries on with this I'm campaigning for Brexit.

Give him his drink at dinner poured into a sock. That'll learn 'im.

I'm taking him skiing in a bit, I'll just push him over.

And point out the carbon footprint of the giant indoor freezer he loves so much.

You're buying the milk in plastic cartons so you can recycle them. Otherwise they might be bought by non-recyclers who send it to landfill.
