Can't really stand getting my hair cut. Thankfully only bother once a year, and it has to be a female barber otherwise they get all angsty about cutting longer hair.

I do myself these days as well, but when I had a full head of curls I was guilty of choosing my hairdresser and paying a premium purely because of the lovely young man who would wash my hair.

Mr L is the same these days with a Kurdish barber he sees. He gets quite grumpy if he goes on his day off and one of his two favourites isn't there to sort him out.

I’m with you! I mean I go more frequently to be fair but it takes all my energy and I find it so draining.
