I love creating seating plans. The power!
When I was a kid, I liked to create the (completely unnecessary) seating plans for any holiday and for looking back, that does seems like an early sign of me being gay

I used to feel the same about September (especially when I’d have to leave Sweden) but I’ve tried hard to change that mindset and now get excited for it as a period of opportunity.

One thing that helps is that we sit down with a spreadsheet and literally plan out the next few months in terms of finances, activities and checkpoints, which I guess is about taking control and looking ahead.

I know some people find planning ahead "restrictive" but I always feel liberated after I've done it.

Although thats the time I'm usually most productive in life because there is nothing else to do.

(Ag, don't read this)

Out of office is on for the "forseeable" :disco: :disco: :disco:

I won't ever say that again unless I die or something and I'm nervous as fuck so I'm drinking to try and quell all the emotions into one nice little neutral. :disco:
When is he arriving?

A boy at the office wished me to have a good autumn today (which is a polite customary thing people do on sep 1st) and I instictively replied to you love, to me it still is and will remain summer. Needless to say it started to rain minutes after my hubris.

Just arranged a bbq in the park tomorrow in defiance of all this autumnal propaganda. Fuck off cardigan club, its still shorts weather.

Oh hi Moopy :disco:

I'm not overly sad it's September because it means I finally get to go on holiday for a week soon. My last proper holiday was April :(

And the last 6 weeks have been brutal in the shop. We are all exhausted.

Also, I'm hoping we get an Indian summer for September, then I'll feel less sad that official summer is over.

Also again, I tried weed for the first time tonight.

Well I used a bong. I coughed. It didn't really do a lot. So I assume I need to try more next time.
A lot of people don't get high the first time. You should probably use the same amount next time, especially if you're using a bong

Wine and gin do seem easier. But my friend seems happy to let me try it a bit so I'll give it another go!
