Artichoke <3What’s everyone’s favourite vegetable?! I think mine is BROCCOLI.
And lastly, cherry tomatoes FTW
what’s this cherry tomato tin business? Do we mean chopped tomatoes or is this something different?
I genuinely don't think I had a decent tomato until I went to the South of France when I was 18.
Even now Mr L will occasionally buy 'salad tomatoes' from supermarkets which taste of nothing.
I tend to find greengrocers more successful for tomatoes than supermarkets. Still hit and miss, though.
I had the same experience going to Spain as a teenager and being AGOG they could taste so good.
is it true they should not be kept in the fridge? I’ve only just found this out to my shame.
Tomatoes at least fit in the fruit category, mushrooms is something else, I love them.Oh be quiet, neither are tomatoes but unless you want to start a FUNGUS thread, shut up.
I know one guy like that, a friend's friend, and eating is always a nightmare for him, but specially for the rest when we eat out, as we can't go to most places because he doesn't eat anything. What a horrible life.
Actually, if it counts, top of my list is the food item I would actually place only behind “egg yolk” in the things I love most, and that is pickled onions.
Very good in a sweet potato currySame idea as chopped tomatoes but cherry tomatoes! They’re amazing!

There are some odd people who don’t believe me when I say green peppers taste different to the others. They look at me like I’m madAvocado is amazing. The naughtiest vegetable of them all.
You know I really hate green peppers.

Avocados are OVER RATED.
Fruit wise, you can’t beat a bit of Mango with a slice of lime

I parboil carrots and then glaze them in balsamic vinegar.Carrots bore me.
I also forgot swede in my never ending top five- but don’t ruin it with carrot mashed in too.
Of course they do! That’s the whole point! They’re kinda bitter...
Evolutionarily, mushrooms are closer to being animals than they are to being fruit. Whilst this is technically true, it's also really misleading, which makes it a lot of fun to share with the more pious vegans.Mushrooms are not really vegetables, right?
