Gangway! Sunday coming through!

About to have something inserted down my throat and it’s not a cock.

Just got out of bed to the smell of fake bacon being cooked and thinking I'll pick a load of my tomatoes to make a nice fresh salad for lunch. How very wholesome.

Now my stuff is all in storage, I slept on an air bed last night at my friends house, but sadly it had a puncture in it, so I basically slept on the floor

Feeling fresh! :side-eye:

How are you just getting out of bed when you have a child? What's the secret? I've been awake since 6am having only gotton to sleep at 3am.

I’ve been watching films more recently, on Netflix, and I realised that I’ve watched 5 80s movies this week, nothing else. Tonight I watched The Shining and I’m half-watching ET now. I wondered what happened to the ET kid, turns out he’s in the Shining sequel :o

meh

Is it Henry Thomas? I always get him confused with Henry Rollins.

He’s 8 now, he gets up, sorts himself out and hogs the TV watching minecraft videos. He doesnt want us to get up and make him do boring non gaming stuff, the little geek.

I took a few years. To be honest, the first couple are easy, they just shit and sleep, then they’re wild, then they develop independence and you’re done.

I've had a tough 6 months with the 18month old for various reasons, lack of sleep mainly. Mr Star keeps saying 'don't worry, look at Kylie (aged 3), it gets better.
And then I feel bad for wishing time away and wanting Dannii to grow up! I have decided that I really don't like those first few months/ almost year, it's enough to put me off any more children. I much prefer them older.

For 6 years at least until they turn into an arsehole.

I had an incredibly volatile relationship with my dad from 14-18 so I’ve decided I’m going to just fuck off for that bit sailing or something

NAR: I love getting a late score during the mixing/overdubbing stage of an album. Now onto the editing! (at 10 tracks and 52 minutes, it is too long).

Second child of always different (usually worse) than the first. At least in my experience, @Rita to confirm.
My second had night terrors about weird stuff like fish in his bed until he was about 4 so I lived in bugger all sleep for a long time. And he used to get up stupidly early and sneak around eating stuff he shouldn't like food colouring and shake and vac.

Yeah, all that is fine and dandy, but I know I’m going with the question on everyone’s lips when I ask if it did indeed put the freshness back?

I’m the youngest by a significant margin and think I was the most conventionally “good” child in my family, albeit that underneath that facade, I am certainly the wildest.

She was a dream until she turned one, so calm and quiet. I don't think she's misbehaving as such, I think she's just hit that point where she's trying to communicate but can't talk so gets frustrated. I remember Kylie being the same, I never thought we'd be able to sit and eat in a restaurant for example, but since about 2.5/3 he's called down a lot.

It's just the sleep deprivation that's killing me! Having to go to work on a few hours sleep is tough. I don't really get any child free time at the moment because I don't want to risk my parents looking after them. So juggling them, work, housework, my youth group, time for myself is just non existent- not even to go to the toilet sometimes!!

Said lots and lots of goodbyes today. I feel a bit like a zombie right now, but I’m now back on the citylink to Edinburgh. Oh the glamour loves! :eyes:
