Alright
Good morning.
There's no way not to make this sound very middle class, but I've hired a piano practice room for an hour this morning. I've not played a proper piano in about 12 years (my parents have one but it's seen better days, this will be a proper grand) and I hope the room is well soundproofed so I can belt out a tune.
Live stream pleaseGood morning.

I have a splitting headache for the second day in a row. All the normal tablets don't do much. I ignored it yesterday as it was my mums birthday.
I normally have quite a dull headache everyday, but this is on the verge of crippling
Oh I'm not isolating and I'm still only getting a nurse phone call.Me too, woke up with it pounding, Dannii has been awake since 3am too which is not helping. And now I've both kids at home today with no one able to help me so I can rest. F*ck you covid.
I used to do this at the Mitchell Library in Glasgow. £3.50 an hour at the time. I mean, we're talking uprights rather than a grand but it was a great wee refuge.

Live stream please
I wasn't going to listenI don't think that would help your headache...

I don't have much cash, but I should probably get a foodbank donation together.

Wow, that can't be nice having daily headachesI have a splitting headache for the second day in a row. All the normal tablets don't do much. I ignored it yesterday as it was my mums birthday.

I get them maybe once every two months.Nothing ipbruprofen doesn't sort. But this absolute splitter has triggered me to seek further investigation.Wow, that can't be nice having daily headachesI get them maybe once every two months.

Probably blood pressure. AGAIN!
Headaches really do make you feel shit. And high blood pressure is the worst at causing them.Nothing ipbruprofen doesn't sort. But this absolute splitter has triggered me to seek further investigation.

Apparently it's telephone triages but if the doctor thinks you need to be seen then you get an appt.Is it even possible to get your blood pressure checked at the moment? Loads of my customers are telling me they just can't get to see a gp so it's all guesswork over the phone
Fucking shitty work. 3 of our managers are off this week meaning I was in charge. But the deal was, to enable them all off together (which is never allowed), on Thursday and Friday this week, I'm not contactable, but one of them is.
So today I've had 3 phone calls from people going sick and had to arrange cover and the manager who is in today is telling me to sort stuff out.
FUCK OFF.
Two more weeks![]()
I have my own monitor. Is it even possible to get your blood pressure checked at the moment? Loads of my customers are telling me they just can't get to see a gp so it's all guesswork over the phone
Most of mine seems to be people with children who can't work. I'm finding it increasingly annoying because they're also the ones that can't ever do a late shift or be flexible. And I do get it, but it puts so much pressure on the others. Not long to go Rachey, hang in there!
Managing sick days is the worst at the moment, even at my work it's constant. But it's unavoidable, anyone with a fever or who has been in contact with someone with a fever can't really come in.

I hoped I'd be happier when I step down but I don't think I will be. I'm planning on leaving altogether in the next 6 months.

Seeing a real human doctor at 2.20.
Haven't been for ages. I tell you what, not being in a workplace keeps the germs away![]()
I nominated two of my clients (I picked those with children, naturally) for Christmas hampers from one of the foodbanks here. They were both accepted and I had to collect the hampers myself. They were huge - I could barely manage to carry one at a time for more than a couple of minutes walking. Stuffed full of Christmas food and snacks, and small stocking filler type gifts. And both had a £100 Aldi gift voucher in. One of the women cried when she came to collect it yesterday. I think it has kicked Christmas off for me.
I'm sure @Indie can handle it alone. We're such a passive, even tempered bunch I'm sure we'll barely need looking after at all.
Does this mean we need another election? If so, where's that Brenda from Bristol gif?

It was the greatest gift we could ever have been given, other than Lulu becoming a kamikaze pilot and targeting Downing Street.I'd like my legacy to be this:![]()
