Yeah I do absolutely understand it, now days at least. Not so much pre Covid. But this one today is a 13 year old who has been sent home from school absolutely feeling fine, but the mother won't leave her for a couple of hours.I suppose I see it from the other side now, but it's so tough. It's been literally 8 months now since I've had any help in looking after the kids. My dad used to pop round for a couple of hours a week and in that time I could whizz around and just get so much done. Now I've no help at all and I'm trying to manage the house as well as working and honest to God I feel like I'm sinking so badly. I can't keep on top of it all and everything just feels a mess. As well as that there's just no where we can go right now, so we're stuck in the house, on a day like today I will literally spend 10 hours in the living room as Mr Star is working from home. And when the kids are sick, again I have no choice but to call in sick because there's just no one else that can look after them. I've never been so exhausted!
Are yours generally easy to entertain or is it hard work?
Honestly, still don't understand the child appeal at all. And it must be SO much harder at the moment.

leave that girl alone!!
